He loves anything to do with airplanes and has dreams of someday to fly in such eenpropellortje. But when his friends surprise him for his birthday with a three-hour plane ride, he is not even happy with that. Michels wife Rachelle (Sandrine Kiberlain) leaves him plenty of space to put their house full of plane paraphernalia. But Michel was not happy. He drags a kayak to take home - because the wooden skeleton it reminds him of a plane without wings - and at the urging of Rachelle he decides to go with his kayak into the water to put his thoughts ever list.
